Staff were friendly and welcoming. Everyone attended to us with a smile!

Unfortunately the menu does not cater to everyone's taste so we did not enjoy the food at all!

Catering for Vegetarian / Vegan needs to be reviewed. Very limited food available on menu's.

I loved the verandah with the chairs. I also love the lighting in the trees. That jetti is something else as well.

The sleeper couch was a little bit hard for me. The evening buffet was nice but it didn't blow me away.

I went to the Spa and had a massage the Spa was stunning and the massage was very good, The food menu although limited is very good and well presented.

There was an issue with my room in that the Aircon did not work, i was then moved to another room Maybe they should check that all the items in the room work before the guest finds them

Great dinner (excellent prawn starter), very comfortable beds and good base to start - end safari. High rating based on good value and friendly staff and also compared with similar prices options in the area

For the work i am doing the location is great, the tranquility of the gardens. the dinner menu was a bit limited but the food was great. The staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good and the staff friendly

nothing really. my previous visit to Ghost Mountain was 25 years ago and it was not in good shape. this was really a suprise

Restaurant was geared for buffet meals. Later arrivals meant food had been on display for some time. A la carte service was very, very slow - and although this was explained on ordering, it was over 40 minutes before arrival of the first course.

There was a mix up with our booking and had to wait 3 hours for a room.Also think we should have been told there were so many film crew staying there.Very limited menu c

The service was world class. We felt at home and were treated like VIP's. The hotel exceeded our expectations and loved everything. The suite Our visit was short but the staff from reception, to Jean, to the waiters and guides made it very special by being their awesome self's and going the extra mile to ensure that our needs were met. Well done team

We were received by the programme organiser who chose a wonderful selection of game drives for us. That was the start. The grounds were lovely, sitting beside the lake with two pools. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of choices, including cooked breakfast made in front of you. The room was spacious with a view to the gardens and convenient for the facilities. Game drives to Mkuze were done by vey knowledgeable in house staff. Patrick was great.

The drive to Mkuze takes half an hour on rough roads. This is not really a complaint - its just the way it is.

We loved everything about the place, the room we booked the Junior suite was exceptional, the food, the waiters but most the boat cruise with Isaac. This was the highlight of our stay.

Secure off road parking

1. Incorrectly coded room key, so had to go back to reception with all my bags. 2. Aircon in room wasn’t working so had to move room after I had unpacked. 3. Cobwebs and dirt behind curtains in the first room and a really fowl smell coming from the shower drain (drain grid was cloaked in I don’t know what and the tile grouting was certainly not clean) 4. Waiter didn’t know what was in the buffet for dinner (Note: restaurant menu is very limited and buffet option is expensive) 5. Vegetables on offer at dinner were smothered in blue cheese sauce (blue cheese is an acquired taste and there was no alternative on offer) 6. On check out the hotel didn’t realise I had already paid on booking.con for my room so they tried to charge me again (if I didn’t remember paying online I would have been double charged). 7. I’m still waiting for the hotel to email me my invoice. Overall not a great experience considering it’s a 4star hotel! Not sure I’ll book again.
